Saturday’s first encaustic workshop was absolutely perfect! The sun was shining, wax and wine were flowing, and this group’s activity was abundant & beautiful. Learning the art of encaustic is truly exhilarating but also challenging. It takes practice to learn to paint with fire and wax.

Windhorse has become such a meaningful space for artists and collectors in the Port Royal and Beaufort community. The gallery supports local artists while creating opportunities for people to engage with art in an accessible, welcoming environment.

Due to the excitement around this class, we’ll be offering additional encaustic workshops in Port Royal and Beaufort in the coming months.
